Peter G. Montano, CPA
Peter has practiced in public accounting since 1986 and has been providing consulting, attest and tax services to nonprofit organizations and venture funds for over 20 years. His extensive experience allows him to provide advice to Boards and management of nonprofit organizations. Peter graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from St. John's University in 1986 and he received his CPA certificate in 1992. Peter is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Peter is also active in various associations, often speaking on topics affecting nonprofit organizations and providing technical seminars on financial management.
Peter believes strongly in the benefits of serving the community. Peter is a member of the Audit Committee for the Maine Community Foundation and is a current member of the Advisory Committee for the Maine Association of Nonprofits.
