Karen M. Hart, CPA, MST
Karen joined Macdonald Page & Co LLC in 1989 and was promoted to Director in 2006. Karen has extensive experience with individual taxation issues including bankruptcy matters. She also concentrates in the areas of estate, trusts and gift tax. She is a frequent speaker for regional organizations on topics of trust and estate planning.
Karen received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Maine at Orono in 1986 and her Masters of Science in Taxation degree from Thomas College in 2002. Karen is also a Certified Public Accounting in the State of Maine.
Karen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Maine Estate Planning Council where she serves as President of the Board of Directors. Karen is also on the Board of Mercy Hospital and serves on various committees at Mercy Hospital.
