Charles J. Kean, III, CPA, CVA
Charlie is Chairman of Macdonald Page & Co LLC. He has practiced in public accounting since 1976 and has extensive expertise in family business issues, as well as in all areas of taxation.
Charlie graduated with a degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1972 and went on to earn his JD from the University of Maine School of Law in 1976. He received his CPA certificate in 1978.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Maine Estate Planning Council.
In addition, Charlie has acted as an arbitrator and expert witness in a number of different cases. He has fulfilled the requirements of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and has the designation of a Certified Valuation Analyst.
