Orientation

New employees participate in an orientation process that includes a general overview of the Firm's, its policies, procedures and common practices. Following that introduction, new employees participate in both formal and informal orientation processes tailored to their respective roles and departments. In addition, there are opportunities to further customize training to fit your individual needs and interests.

Mentoring

Each new staff member has a mentor, someone who has been with Macdonald Page & Co LLC long enough to have insight into the practices and procedures employed by us, yet remembers what it was like being the new employee. The mentor will meet with you on a regular basis to answer questions and provide guidance as you become accustomed to your new environment.

Training

Client contact comes early, making even your initial assignments both exciting and challenging. In fact, we encourage hands-on experience and training in a variety of client situations to increase learning potential and provide maximum exposure to the broad scope of public accounting services. We have a formalized training program that is used as a foundation for your hands-on training.

We have a comprehensive ongoing CPE program at all levels within Macdonald Page & Co LLC. In addition to continuous on-the-job learning, we provide an appropriate blend of AICPA and state society sponsored training programs and industry specific training, both within and outside the Firm. We also promote the use of interactive computer self-study to promote personal development.
